It’s not often that you will see Deadmau5 mentioned on Metalectro since we pride ourselves in not bothering with any gossip, twitter arguments or non directly music related posts and although there is no much room for argument about Deadmau5′ offerings to the electronic music world really, there’s also not much music coming by him which we could feature here. But in any case, the mau5 is back on Metalectro after a long time thanks to the Canadian duo who goes by the name Botnek and their remix of “Maths”. A loud and dirty(er) Electro remix that definitely gives a much needed energy boost to the original, according to our taste and earbuds that is. The remix will be released on the “5yrs of deadmau5” anniversay remix album, to be released on Mau5trap Records on November 24th, alongside remixes by Dillon Francis, Shiba San, Nero, Eric Prydz, Madeon and more. So far Botnek‘s remix holds pole position for our favorite remix out of the ones we have already heard from the upcoming ablum, although we assume there will be some more great ones for sure to come by some of the artists involved in this project.
