This next track is fresh blood and is going to put a new name and city on the Metalectro map! I discovered Space Blanket recently and i am glad to get them onboard and get them featured for the first time on the blog. Since Abdul, Space Blanket‘s one half, is also celebrating his bday today i thought i’d post their only available track on Soundcloud and this is my present to him. This duo comes from Athens, Greece and it’s the first time i post a name from Athens or Greece in general on the blog but hopefully not the last. Space Blanket formed in late 2009 by Abdul and Biscuit. Their sound is a mix of grinding basslines, heavy kicks and french style synths mixed with guitar and vocals. Space Blanket, are currently working on their debut EP and here’s is a taste of their sound with their runner-up winner remix on “Bird1” at Beatport’s remix contest for the track!
