Staying heavy and of course on free side of things and i’ll go on with a track by a pretty big name which for reasons unknown to me, they never got blogged here before. That’s about to change now anyway and for those of you unfamiliar with Savoy, say hell-o to the Brooklyn, USA, based trio. Big sound, big bass and rock influences make Savoy a name to check out for sure and possibly one of the first artists to adopt the Metalectro concept and try to bring the rock and dance worlds together, even if they aren’t aware of the whole underground scene that has existed already for a few years now. In any case, i’m not here to argue whether they are innovators of the style or not but to introduce Savoy to all who might have not heard of them and post their track “Kidz”, which is no doubt a pretty nice free track. So, check it out, grab it and of course check out the Savoy page for more bass goodness!
Next-to-last post and again i can´t help splattering even more fresh blood, another new name who has once been mentioned before already (one of the winners of AG&AG´s “ROK THA DAM FLO” remix competition btw), but not yet been featured here with a single post, so hell-o and an infernal welcome to Ricardo Brooks from Volgograd/Russia! Sadly there was just the teaser of this release named “Unexpectedly. Part1” on Cool Music Records to get and not the full tracks, judging by what´s written on Beatport it includes altogether six original tracks though and judging by my ears quite interesting, so i couldn´t keep it back from you in spite of being a bit short – just check the teaser out!!!
For any reason i have knack for featuring new artists lately, whether smaller names or for first time blogged here – they just drop into my lap, so i´ll keep the fresh blood coming for the time being and gladly introduce you to another newbie on this blog going by the name Fastax and as well as my previous post coming from Paris/France! I have to admit i quite enjoyed checking out his account, heard some good approaches there when it comes to hard, nasty and trashy electro, in the end i decided to choose this original track named “Machines” as i prefer originals in general to introduce someone, being the better debut for a first feature imo. So i´ll keep an eye on Fastax for sure, you better check him out too by hitting the play button right now and don´t forget to grab this goodie because it´s a freebie as well!!!
Hell-o all you bangers, time for another Metalectro session to get under way! Starting with a new release and a name that hasn´t been featured yet here before, so say hell-o and welcome to Antitrash Jack from Paris/France and his latest EP named “Heart Broken“, which has been released around 1,5 weeks ago on Heavy Artillery Recordings! Featuring four originals and two remixes by Arkasia and TheSk, i took this EP into my heart instantly being spiced with greatly banging guitar riffs all over and hence a perfect representative for this blog. Epic dub- and drumstep the way we like it here, so don´t hesitate but check this awesome release out by all means!!!
Coming to my last blood splattering post already, Zak will take over in a few to keep your ears buzzing though! So here´s the first real metalectric tune of my posts today and another new name for you to discover going by the name Shamrock, consisting of three members (one of them probably known to you as Orihalcon) that are playing their instruments themselves and live judging by the information i got so far. “Eastern Willpower” is the tracks´s name i´m featuring hereby and being a nice mixture of hard trash electro, orchestral sections and banging guitar riffs. That´s it on my behalf, check this one out, grab it and have fun with Zak´s following posts!!!
