New Release: CrazyMT “Right Way” EP

We will leave the dark filthy stuff with the 2nd post and go on with a new release that it’s quite the opposite of dark, spooky or filthy. This doens’t mean it’s not a great release though. CrazyMT had his debut EP out on Jet Set Trash a week ago and it’s fair to say that French artist really proved with his EP “Right Way” that not only he has a great talent for writting music that has a character and very strong identitly but that he doesn’t care or follow trends as well. Inspired, bright, full of great melodies, catchy vocals and a positive mood, the 3 originals have all the elements to become instant classic melodic Electro House tracks. As for the remixes, Geometry, French Stereo and Linoleum have boosted the 3 originals by adding their personal touch while maintaining the nice melodic electro house sound and feel. A very nice EP overall and a debut that left us wanting more from CrazyMT. Check it out!

Staying on the French side of music with this preview by CrazyMT of his upcoming “Right Way” EP, and in this case it can be taken literally as here comes a throughout French release with its three originals by CrazyMT, and one remix of each track by Geometry, French Stereo and Linoleum into the bargain! Like always CrazyMT delivered soulful, melodic and refreshingly different sounding originals, perfectly assigned and recreated by each remixer that make this EP to be released on Jet Set Trash the 21st of October a throughout harmonious but also varied release. Nothing to be added,  but check this minimix out and enjoy!!!

Time to wrap things up and well, it’s a fact that a Metalectro session can’t feel complete really if there isn’t at least one freebie posted. So, just before we call it a day and wish you all a nice evening here’s today’s only freebie and my pick for the “remix of the day” by a name that hasn’t been featured here that many times yet but is certainly getting more and more posts and something tells me plenty more will follow. So, here’s French Stereo, a duo from Marseille (France) and their remix on M83 and the track “Midnight City”. A track that is definitely going to the opposite direction than my previous rather dark post and an original track that most of you will know and recognise from some very characteristic parts. A very nice remix for all those who love their electro house and appreciate the nice energy boost and ravey sounds, so check it out, grab it and have a great evening!

French Stereo – Crank It Up

This is my last personal pick for today alrealy as there will be one more post coming and that will be Zardonic‘s choice for today, so lets throw some fresh blood in today’s session and lets get ravey with a newly released original track by French Stereo. “Crank It Up” is the title of French Stereo‘s new single, out on Tiger Records about 10 days ago and it’s a pretty nice one too. Definitely not on the banger side of things but more on the ravey, bouncy Electro House one, not that this means it’s not a track i really enjoyed since the first listen though. A track that can definitely make the crowd move imo and if that’s not enough to convince you i have nothing else to say except press play below and check it out for yourselves.
