It was a bit of a special weekend for us since half of Metalectro was celebrating another year of making the planet louder but we’re back in business today nevertheless and we have some fresh sounds for you. Fresh and free to be precise as we have a couple new free EPs coming to your speakers straight from the underground. So lets jump right into the fire with Ferd and his new EP titled “Fermetrure”, available for free through Electro News with 3 originals in the classic Ferd style and sound which we know many of you enjoy. French touch with a hard Electro edge and genearally speaking plenty of things to like on each and every track. Hell-o ya all, due to certain circumstances it´s been a damn while since we last came up with some blog posts. I don´t want to promise too much, but having said that i´ll make it at least today to not only bring your eardrums in motion again, but also add some words about the artists, the tracks or just for sheer reading entertainment! Starting on the spot with a proper guitar fueled track coming from a damn reliable producer when it comes to lavish guitar use, going by the name FERD, who released this banger to celebrate 666 likes on his Facebook page! So guess the name – damn right, it´s “666” of course! Like each track by the young and in my opinion pretty underrated French producer this one´s another soulful, still also boosting tune that creates feeling and atmosphere, but brings out hard kicking main points above all, so better don´t miss but grab this great freebie right here, of course play it loud and cheers to FERD for the next 666 likes!!!

So, as promised and announced last week, we have a Metalectro Exclusive Free EP for you all and this one brings together a few names that you have seen and heard before here! One of your favorite raw thrash bass electro punk duos, Laforcah, join forces with an artist that constantly surprises us with his creativity, originality and really unique tracks and ideas, CrazyMT and together they came up with a new original collaboration track. “Ichnusa” is the track title and it turns out that these 2 artists really compliment each other with their pretty different styles and approach of music making. Laforcah‘s full blast power and earthshaking bass combined with CrazyMT‘s great talent for melodies and come together perfectly to create a really great original track. Add 3 remixes by FERD, Liberator and Dies Irae and “Ichnusa” is transformed to a pretty nice EP, which we are glad to make available for all of you to listen and grab! So, check it out and grab it!

Hell-o you all! Actually i was about to start blogging with a different track, but it just got removed on Soundcloud, so i´ll have to shorten blogging by one post due to a lack of time i´m afraid and will start with this awesome Free EP named “Beta” by FERD featuring four great tracks that are being given as freebie through Electro News instead! Zak already posted the according teaser to this EP quite a few days ago, since five days the full tracks are finally available so it was about time to give this damn tasty treat another feature here. And i´m definitely taking off my hat to FERD for this EP i gladly got the opportunity to check out some time before already ,as it´s really a very nice and well done composition of varied styles and tracks, energetic, melodic, guitar fueled and trashy at the same time, i actually listen pretty often to. “Infestor´s Nerf” is undoubtably my favorite being a straight guitar-kick-ass tune, the other tracks are in damn hot pursuit of it though, so make sure to check them all out and grab your copy by all means!!!

Hell-o all and after what i hope was a great weekend for you it’s once again time to send some bass goodness through your speakers! With a new special guest artist sending us some of his favorite tracks to be featured here and of course our usual basstastic picks let’s see how loud we can get and I’ll be starting pretty heavy today, with a preview of an upcoming EP by FERD. Actually more like a demo since the French producer is still looking for a label and doesn’t have any release plans yet for this pretty Metalectric 4 original track EP. Guitar fueled, trashy, loud and overall sounding pretty good, with some obvious references and influences, i’d say FERD has come up with what sounds like it could be a very nice EP, so check it out and those of you in position to help get in touch with him!
