Hell-o all, mid-week Metalectro session startng and as many of you are into Champions League probably we better make sure to make it a challenge and keep you focused on yours and our favorite music more than your TVs. So, having said that here’s today’s opening post and it’s the Champions League equivalent of hard electro as it’s about The Bloody Beetroots new LP “Hide”, out on Ultra Records. A lot could be said about this new release really as it certainly features tracks for every taste, ranging from Disco influenced tracks to Metal and Punk and pretty much anything one could imagine, as well as a number of collaborations with names you will know of either from their Electro Dubstep work or from their rock legend status. Personally even though i quite enjoyed the album, i think it might have been a bit overwhelming and intelligent at times, something that if you look at it as a dance album can be something negative but if you simply put genres aside it certainly shows great musicianship and creativity. Still, The Bloody Beetroots and Sir Bob showed that they haven’t forgotten their love for the hard electro sound and didn’t neglect to include a few bangers too on the LP, some of them made public as singles for some time already and some of them unheard. These were the Metalectro favorites (no big surprise here) and the ones to be blogged here so check the out below but you should definitely still go check out the full LP anyway!

Going on with a big track by a big name next, well it’s more than one big name actually since this is a collaboration between The Bloody Beetroots, TAI and Bart B More. Of course none of these names needs any introducitons really and i bet neither does “Spank”, which is the latest single by The Bloody Beetroots. Out on Ultra Music a bit longer than a month ago the single features also an extended mix of the track but either way and  extended mix or radio edit the fact reamains the same. The Bloody Beetroots are back and they can still go hard as “Spank” proves. Check this out if you haven’t yet and if you already have, well, check it out again!
