Hell-o you all and welcome to another Metalectro session! The day started quite exciting having reached 5000 followers on Facebook -thanks to everyone who made this happen!!- continued quite annoying after finding out to be blocked on Soundcloud, but the issues have been solved meanwhile and i´m ready to bring some loud, trashy and fresh sounds to you! Starting with some fresh blood already and a pretty considerable new release featuring altogether 8 originals which is out since a week on Elektroshock Records. It´s the latest release named “Addicted To Apocalypse” by 3D Stas, a name i stumbled upon the first time just few minutes ago too, but i have to admit this LP by the Ukrainian producer ranging somewhere between breaks and guitar fueled electrorock or rockstep convinced me at once, so there you are – give it a listen by all means!!!
Time to wrap things up and lets close with a reccently released remix by Geometry. A duo that has been featured here many times with both remixes and originals and one of those up & comers in the European Electro House scene to look out for. Geometry haven’t really been as active the last few months for reasons unknown to us but when they do come up with a new track they are on top of their game and the result is still as impressive as it has always been with these guys. Top production and great tracks is what you should always expect by them and their remix on CrazyMT‘s “Right Way”, out on Jet Set Trash 1 month ago, is exactly that and a fair and square “remix of the day”. Here is the full track in case you haven’t checked it out and we certainly hope to listen to more like this by Geometry. Check it out and have a nice evening!
Here comes another freebie and an original track by Overwerk who is no stranger to this blog and to the idea of giving out free tracks, usually pretty good ones too. And this recent original by the Canadian is no exception either, as it has all those elements you would expect by an Overwerk track and any good Electro House track. Melodic, groovy, well produced and catchy, “Conquer” might not the hardest track you have ever heard here or in general but it’s definitely a nice one to say the least. Those of you familiar with Overwerk should pretty much know what to expect anyway since Overwerk was never on the pure banger side but he never fails to deliver some nice Electro House tracks. Here’s another one of them, check it out and grab it!
Here’s a preview and teaser of a half Free and half upcoming official EP release by Sawgood. Maybe this sounds a bit unusual or confusing but all you need to know is that the first 2 tracks of the preview you are about to hear are available as free downloads, courtesy of monsieur Sawgood, while the last 2 tracks (“Yes Daddy” and “Tyson”) will be out on Jack Knife Records. So yes, both a Free EP and an upcoming official one by th Frenchman who is back with 4 nice sounding originals, some crazy track titles (Deflower Your Sister And Eat Some Pasta?) and definitely plenty of bass. So here comes “Tyson” and it certainly packs a punch! So here’s the teaser which should keep all Sawgood fans happy and excited for his upcoming EP. Check it out, grab the free tracks and stay tuned for more!
Closing the day with some less brutal or rough, but all the more powerful, atmosperic and amazingly great tunes and another dose of fresh blood going by the name Torolla! This EP named “Redneck Games” by the Oslo/Norway based producer has been released on Funkk Sound Recordings on November the 4th and both tunes featured on are just great imo! The first and same-titled track comes around with playful banjo sounds embedded into groovy & strong basslines, the 2nd named “Neon Fever” with divinely uplifting melodies and throughout powerful boost, skyrocketing you straight to space! Superawesome glitchy-complextro stuff by all means – enjoy the trip and have a relaxed evening!!!
