Hell-o all and here’s a free original by the Asutrallia based Hades Of Spades, who a few months after the release of his “Machine Dogs” album on SectionZ Records continues to surprise with his different and unique style. An artist who is definitely staying far away from all the EDM ‘standards’ Hades Of Spades stays loyal to his creative vision by not following what’s already out there but by developing his own style. “Dark Box” is a dark track which definitely does justice to its title and a track we thought suits Metalectro pretty well for it’s originality and the artist’s dark underground style. Check it out, grab your copy since it’s available for free and support this guy as well as all those underground artits who are still remaining on the creative side of electronic music rather than caving in to commercial success standards.

Hell-o all and after a bass filled weekend it’s time to get back into blogging duties and put our bass addiction into good use by spreading it far and wide through the internets. And to start the day and week, we have a new Free EP for all you bass lovers, by a name that hasn’t appeared on Metalectro for a while. Karluv Klub is back with a Free EP through Kannibalen Records and it’s a pretty good one too. 2 originals and 2 remixes by Fukk Up and Ivarr are what you are going to get on “Sixxx” EP and let’s just say that if we had a “Metalectro approved” kind of stamp to add to those tracks and releases we consider dark, heavy and bassed up enough to be worthy of being Metalectro certified this would probably be getting it. Good stuff by Karluv Klub and Kannibalen Records so here’s “Sixxx” EP for you to check out and grab your copy!

Hell-o all and in case you don’t know what time it is, it’s time to get heavy and loud with some more basstastic sounds and we have a couple nice new releases coming today but we think this opening post is the big news of the day since it signals the official comeback of Delta Heavy on Metalectro and in general and that can only be big news since we know the UK based duo is a loved one by many among you. “Apollo” is the title of their new EP that was out a few days ago on Ram Records including 3 original tracks and if we want to be objective about the EP as a whole we have to say it’s as big as you would expect by Delta Heavy even if not all tracks are down the Metalectro alley. Of course, we weren’t really surprised to hear some trap on this one too even if we were hoping not to and we hoped that the duo might try to ‘lead’ more rather than ‘follow’ recipes that are so common nowadays, hence we have only picked the opening track of the EP “Apollo” to post here which is our favorite as well. Top quality and production Drum N Bass no doubt but unfortunatelly the rest of the EP didn’t leave us any particularly pleasant buzz and taste in the ears to be perfectly honest. But for what it’s worth here’s “Apollo” and do check it out by all means because this is the kind of track you would expect and patiently wait/hope for when it comes to Delta Heavy!

Hell-o all and since time is limited today this will most likely be our only post so let’s make sure it’s a good one both in terms of loudness and heaviness. And the young Russian producer that goes by the name Diskort seems to have just the right thing for the occassion as he just made available a Free EP through Jet Set Trash to announce joining the UK based label’s roster. Dark, raw and trashy, “Blood Splatter” EP includes 2 originals that will definitely leave some bleeding eardrums and a very good first impression to everyone who likes their Electro trashy and nasty. Needless to say this a perfectly suited fresh blood post and a great first introduction to the Metalectro universe for Diskort who has an official EP coming on Jet Set Trash soon too but for now just check and grab this one!

To wrap things up with we have saved a freebie for you all and an exclusive original track which King Peanuts was kind enough to give exclusively to Metalectro for all those who like their Electro hard and their bass heavy. “Troublemaker” is the title of the Portuguese producer’s new track and it’s a rowdy one indeed that could cause some trouble with neighboors if played at appropriate volumes. It was a while since we had an exclusive free track to give through Metalectro as well so this one came right on time as no matter how busy get we like to keep the good old habits of providing nice freebies, as long as the artists agree too of course and it’s not disrespecting their work and time or energy put into coming up with the music. So, check this out, grab it, share it and stay tuned as we are certain more will follow by King Peanuts!
