Next i’ll start picking up the pace and move into more contemporary sounds and styles, not that the 80’s will ever be out of style, but keep the fresh blood flowing anyway since Zero9 have only been mentioned here once before and that was as a remixer. Today they return with a preview of an upcoming EP, titled “Space Rock” and coming soon on Bonerizing Records. 2 original tracks on it, “Space Rock” and “Selekta'” and don’t let the title “Space Rock” mislead you into relating Zero9 with any heavy psychedelic rock bands of the 60’s-70’s (see Hawkwind) or any stoner bands (see Monster Magnet) who had a taste for such titles. This is a classic electro sounding EP and if there is any artist i would use as a reference to describe what it sounds like that would be The Boomzers. Check it out!
