Here’s another very nice sounding new release coming, the brand new EP “Shit Happens” by Rubber Spanner, out only a couple of days ago on Jet Set Trash. A bit of a surprise i have to admit since the London (UK) based label has been mostly releasing electro house on the hard banging side but this release by the London as well based artist is certainly more on housy side. Melodic synths, great catchy leads and an overall clean and well polished high standard production which despite not being that hard is still very good as it covers a wide range of moods and styles, from electro house to acid and more funky/disco grooves. 4 originals and 1 remix by 1ino1eum on it and overall a release that does sound fresh and positively bright, despite the title “Shit Happens”.
