Time for the first “Face Off” this month, though i´d rather call it a “Mini Face Off” since this hasn´t been an official remix contest and i chose only three tracks at last. I mean there haven´t been provided many tracks anyway, probably related to the fact that Q.G. just offered the stems for fun and never intended any competition. Nevertheless i have to say i was pretty surprised by the good sort of several remixes, a fact that militates most likely for the quality of the offered stems. But in order not to make a complete fool of myself in picking lastly half of all provided remixes i judged quite strict, though with mixed feelings since two tracks i liked fell by the wayside. Crucial for my picks was at last creativity and innovativeness – so here they are, my 3 favourites by Beurk, PRFLDR and Patient Zero!
