Back to some more familiar sounds now, with Rubber Spanner‘s remix on Cosmic Sand‘s “Back To The Moonlight Sonata Mvt.2”. A really huge surprise when i first listened to this as i had already listened to so many remixes of the track during the remix competition and yet nothing was similar to what Rubber Spanner did. I’ve been following him for a while now and even though he takes some big breaks from producing, he has come up with some great tracks already, although some of them are even before i got this blog running. A heavy, trashy and melodic track and that’s pretty much all you can ask for for a track to be great, for my taste at least. I really hope Rubber Spanner doesn’t go on another break now because his latest tracks have been really great imo. They’re not as many but i sure hope we’ll listen to more like this by him soon!
