New Release – Subdue “Horizon” EP

Here’s a very nice to start the new week, the new “Horizon” EP by Subdue. A release that is going to blow a lot of minds and sets of ears away! The previews of the tracks have been blowing mine away for a few days now and i did already share them with you a few days ago! I was mistaken though when i said that the EP would contain 2 original tracks and 6 remixes. Actually, it is 5 originals and 6 remixes which makes this a release that is probably packed with more good tracks than you can handle in one single release. Everything else is the same like i said on the preview i posted a few days back. So, today i will post here the EP teaser as a reminder! Go check this one, it’s out already and waiting to impress!

This will be the last post for today and i will leave you to have a great Friday evening with a track that fits the occasion. A track that comes by a name that hasn’t been on the blog for a long time but a name that most of you, including me, know and love. The Zombie Kids are back and they’re blowing money fast! Taken from their latest “Blow Money Fast” EP, which was released a month ago on Shake Your Ass Records, i have picked the self-titled track and this will hopefully get you in the mood to go out there and blow some steam off tonight as well as your money! A great track and release that i somehow missed. Check it out, especially if you missed it too, blow some money buying it if you like it and have a great evening and weekend!!!

This next track is fresh blood and is going to put a new name and city on the Metalectro map! I discovered Space Blanket recently and i am glad to get them onboard and get them featured for the first time on the blog. Since Abdul, Space Blanket‘s one half, is also celebrating his bday today i thought i’d post their only available track on Soundcloud and this is my present to him. This duo comes from Athens, Greece and it’s the first time i post a name from Athens or Greece in general on the blog but hopefully not the last. Space Blanket formed in late 2009 by Abdul and Biscuit. Their sound is a mix of grinding basslines, heavy kicks and french style synths mixed with guitar and vocals. Space Blanket, are currently working on their debut EP and here’s is a taste of their sound with their runner-up winner remix on “Bird1” at Beatport’s remix contest for the track! This is a new release i just stumbled upon and really left me shocked! I’ve been following Electro Foundation for a while now but except for “Doghouse”, featured in Metalectro MixTape vol.02 too, i wasn’t the biggest fan of their tunes, as their hard electro-house style isn’t really my favorite. Well, until today that is because as soon as i listened to “Sun Odysey”, which is the title of their new EP as well, i immediately became a really big fan! The melody and atmosphere of the track is so amazing and yet it pounds hard and doesn’t go soft on the dirt! One of my late favorites no doubt! The other track of the EP, “Sounds Of The Ocean” is also great but right now i have to focus on “Sun Odysey”! A must listen!!!

Here’s a preview of a forthcoming EP that is going to blow a lot of minds and sets of ears away! The previews of the tracks have blowing mine away for a few days now already and i thought i would share them with you! I did post the self-titled track “Horizon” a few days ago but it’s such a great track in my opinion that i’m sure no one would mind listening to it again. I’m talking of course about Subdue and their forthcoming “Horizon” EP. It’s scheduled for release on the 21st of March, which is only 3 days away. Except for the originals “Horizon” and “Dream Life” (ft. Miss Wonder on the vocals) it’ll contain remixes by Revolte, Dilemn, Kolt13, Bestrack, Freshlovers and Metropolice, so get ready for an eargasm!
