Hell-o to all and i hope the new year has kicked off in great ways for everyone! Personally i’m still in 2011 mode, as far as my blogging goes at least as i still have a few 2011 posts to blog. I’ll start with a recent release, a new release you might say as well as it’s only been out a couple of weeks. The UK based Obey! haven’t been blogged on Metalectro before but their “Road To Dancebang” EP is surely a nice debut for them on this blog. Obey! are a duo, mixing live drums with computer music resulting in a nice mix of synths, electronic bass-lines and percussive drums on the 2 original tracks “Road to Dancebang” pt.I and pt.II, as well as 3 remixes by Q.G., The SlutGarden and SubVibe. A nice release overall that’s worth checking out if you haven’t yet.
