Hell-o! After taking a day off due to a bad hangover, which could be translated to a big and really enjoyable night out, i’m back with a few killer sounds, starting with a new release, actually a re-release of Rubber Spanner‘s debut EP “In”. Initially released in May 2010 but re-released on Jet Set Trash a few days ago it’s a 5 track EP, 2 originals and 3 remixes by The Big Robot, 5tarcrush and Ascii Demon. Expect to hear a variety of styles on this one and the description “filter-funk-electro-disco-metal” given by Rubber Spanner is an accurate one in this case. To be honest this isn’t by any means the heaviest or dirtiest release you’ve read about here but it’s still a pretty good one. I might as well say it’s an indie dance/new disco release but check it out in any case!
