Last post of the day and before we wrap things up here’s my pick for the “remix of the day” and it’s a remix by KATFYR on The Prophet‘s “Ordinary Life”, out on SectionZ. Definitely a remix that goes heavy on the bass and that’s no surprise coming by KATFYR, even if he once again stayed away from the old KATFYR sound. A massive improvement on an original track that by both Metalectro and personal  standards i couldn’t enjoy as it simply isn’t my cup of tea but KATFYR succeeded in transforming the original in a heavy Drumstep track. Besides the vocals and some other elements this remix hasn’t stayed close to the original and once again nice stuff by KATFYR who shows that regardless of whether he’s doing Dubstep and following the 2nd KATFYR era sound or his older maximal one, he certainly knows how to get loud and deliver some heavy hitters. So, check this one out and have a great evening!

Going on with another recently released track and this time i will leave any remixes aside. Naeleck & Oddity are both fresh blood here on Metalectro as well since they have never been featured here before and this is certainly quite a nice way to introduce them to the Metalectro universe, with a collaboration original titled “Disease”. The track is taken from the “Disease” EP out on Den Haku Records about a month ago. The EP also features some nice remixes by KATFYR, Carbon Kevlar and Banvox, even though to be honest they weren’t the best choice of remixes by Metalectro standards, not for a Friday pre-party mood setter blogging session at least, so i decided to pick only the original mix to feature here. Ravey and well produced, “Disease” is certainly not a dirty or heavy banger to break necks with but is still a pretty nice track that you should definitely check out!

Hell-o all and despite being a bit of a hard week for us in terms of blogging due to some technical difficulties (for which we blame Justin Bieber – only kidding obviously) we’re back and about to wrap up the week up with an interview and some of this week’s special guest artist favorite tracks, which he picked to be featured here for you to check. As for this week’s special guest artist, he’s one that has been featured here many times since the very early days of this blog and one whose loud bass has been making us bang and bounce for about 3 years now. With a new EP out a couple of weeks ago on SectionZ Records and plenty of things to talk about, here is KATFYR, so read on to find out what makes this bass machine tick!

Perfume – Secret Secret

One post before the last and it’s time for Katfyr to introduce to us one more of his favorite tracks and this time he has picked the track “Secret Secret” by Perfume and a video for you to check. No explanation was given as for the reason why Katfyr wanted this particular track to be posted here but no explanation is really needed and liking a song is all the reason one can need to recommend it. So, here’s today’s choice by Katfyr, check it out and don’t go anywhere as we have a remix contest to announce next!

Capsule – Eternity

Last post of the day and here comes this week’s special guest who is a name that has been keeping us busy here on Metalectro with his massive bass sound since the very early days of this blog and recently had his EP “Here We Go” released on SectionZ Records. Katfyr is the name and bass is his game, when it comes to his own productions at least. It;s time though to see, hear and find out what Katfyr likes to listen to when not prosucing his own music and even though the Portguese producer didn’t give us any specific reasons for the track he picked to feature here, here they come anyway and his first track choice is “Eternity” by Capsule. Check it out and have a great evening!
