Preview: South Central “Hollywood” EP – The Remixes

Going on with a preview next of what has been a pretty highly anticipated EP, remixes EP to be precise, since the initial release of South Central‘s “Hollywood” was no doubt one of the most banging releases of the year imo with bangers such as “Armaggedon” and “Jawdrop” so the expectations had to be pretty high for the remixes EP too. It’s been about 10 months since the release of “Hollywood” and now finally we have a first taste and preview of the remixes EP, which will be out tomorrow (on Dim Mak of course) featuring 5 remixes by Angger Dimas, Bar9, Haezer , Chris Avantgarde and Sawgood! Some heavy hitters no doubt on the remixer line up and hopefully the full length tracks will be equally heavy hitting as the reputation that preceeds these artists. Judging from this preview/teaser at least the first samples are encouraging, to say the least, and tomorrow is already shaping up to be a great day in terms of new music! Freebie: Haezer – Shango

Here’s another freebie and once again no introductions are needed, even if it’s your first time on this blog you will still be familiar with this artist. The mighty Haezer returns on Metalectro with one more freebie and his most recent original track, titled “Shango”. To be honest i had and still have slightly mixed feeling about the South African producer’s latest banger, which imo isn’t as banging as i hoped and would have liked it to be. Still, it’s definitely a heavy and quite dirty track, although it lacks some of that trashed beauty and agressive kind of vibe that defined the older Haezer tracks imo, or my ears have become a lot more hard to please. Either way i still enjoyed the track, even if it’s my favorite from Haezer, so check it out and grab your copy! You know you want to!
