Drop Goblin – Sick, Epic, Dope, Bangin

Time to pick up your guitars or just assume your favorite air guitar stance as i have a track by Drop Goblin coming on next and this one might be an older track but it somehow escaped our attention and managed to fly under our radar for quite a while, not any longer though. “Sick, Epic, Dope, Bangin” was released a year ago on Funky Elmement Records on Drop Goblin‘s “Sick, Epic, Dope, Bangin” EP and well, it’s safe to say the title describes the track perfectly. Guitar fuelled, which is something pretty common when talking about Drop Goblin, as well as all those adjectives used in the track title this one is definitely a great one to listen to whether a metalhead, electrohead or dubstepper. The EP also featured some pretty nice remixes by Dank and Synchronice as well as one more original titled “Good For Nothing Dirtbag” and i strongly recommend checking it out, after of course hitting play below!

Time to pick up the pace after the nice but a bit slow for my taste opening post and time to let some of that sweet guitar fuelled Metalectric sound flow through our veins with this older but still great track imo. Drop Goblin‘s “Feelin’ Like A Rockstar” is taken from the same-titled EP released about a year ago on Play Me Records. The EP also featured 2 more originals (“Fire In The Hole” and “Booty Pop”) plus a remix on “Booty Pop” by Dirt Monkey but it’ this rocking original mix that really stands out and takes the EP to new heights imo. A really great track, combining the hard rock aesthetic and sound with our favorite bass music and as Drop Goblin proved with his latest EP “The Gate” as well, he certainly is one of the masters of the style and a quickly growing to be favorite Metalectro artist.

Hell-o all and another Metalectro session is about to get started so better get ready! I’ll be starting with some tasty fresh blood and a pretty Metalectric release, freshly crafted in the flames of dubhell. So say hell-o to Drop Goblin! Drop Goblin is a Dj and roducer from New Hampshire, USA, with a background in Metal & Hardcore sound design. Many of his Dubstep productions revolve around the darker & angrier side of EDM, as is his new EP “The Gate” out 2 days ago on Ultragore Recordings featuring 2 originals and a remix by Mendez Mosh Pit. Guitar fueled and dark the original mix of “The Gate” is definitely my pick from the official EP but for even better Metalectric sound i strongly recommend you to check out the vocal edit of the track too, which is available as a freebie too!
