This will be the last post for today and it’s time to pick up our guitars and get loud with Drop Goblin‘s brand new single that was out on Ultragore Recordings just today. A track with Metalectro sound and attitude, a message and a point to get accross that will possibly stir up some positive and negative reactions but will definitely find many who agree, even if only silently. Drop Goblin isn’t the kind of artist who will not speak his mind though or “play nice” and from our side we have to give him credit for that honesty that is often missing from many artists today. As for “One Jaded Asshole”, it is the kind of angry guitar fueled track we can definitely bang our headz to so here it is, like it or not. Check it out and rage!

Hell-o all and here comes your daily dose of bass and with this being the only post for today due to time restraints we better make it a good one and the “We Are Not P(o)P” Pt.03 and Pt.04 double compilation by Jet Set Trash is perfect to do just that. With 27 originals and remixes released on the label last year and a variety of styles that range from Electro House and more commercial Dubstep by artists such as Virtual Riot, Heavygrinder and Oxylice, to nasty trashy bass by the likes of Skitsnygg, Laforcah, Tim Tonik, Gor FLsh and of course some guitar fueled Metalectro favorites by Zardonic, Imagin8, Rubber Spanner and Drop Goblin that come as no surprise being on a Jet Set Trash release, this is a guaranteed energy boost to get you through the rest of the week.

Keeping the new releases coming as there have been a few of those out recently and Drop Goblin‘s new EP is exactly that. The USA producer is more known for his dark guitar fueled Dubstep and his “Whiskey Biscuit” EP, out on Jet Set Trash 1 week ago, has definitely kept the nice heavy guitar sound we love here flowing nicely through the original but this time Dubstep’s Goblin has delivered a cheerful and feelgood original track rather than a dark one. Cartoon-ish vocals, country-folk music elements and nice catchy melodies replace Drop Goblin‘s dark vibes but “Whiskey Biscuit” is still heavy nevertheless. 2 remixes as well on this one, a super-energised Drum & Bass remix by The Mechanist plus a hard Electro-step one by Knooper. Overall, a nice release that goes from 0-100 in a few seconds so if you haven’t checked it out yet, hit play below.

Going on with a new release and this is as fresh as it gets really as not only it was released a few hours ago but is also sounding pretty fresh! Exhorth might seem like the new kid on the blog and technically he is fresh blood but you might have heard some of his previous work as Divine-X. Divine-X is no longer though and one half of them goes on as Exhorth now and keeps delivering the goods. With tracks out on SectionZ and Play Me Too already, the Brasilian has now found his new home on Jet Set Trash and is launching his bassline attack with the single “Like This”. 1 fresh, very inspired and maximal sounding original with a lot of power, great big sound and plenty of style plus 3 remixes by Mr Batou, Drop Goblin and Knooper. A lot to like on this one really which covers almost all EDM spectrums and styles. Great depth and variety, with all 4 tracks adding to the release as a whole as well as being very nice to listen to on their own. So here’s a preview of  Exhorth‘s “Like This” and it’s definitely one to like!

Going on with a rather dark original by Drop Goblin and a track based on the 1980 horror movie “The Changelling” next, released a month ago on Funky Element Records. A track that most certainly isn’t funky at all though, if anything it’s quite the opposite and closer to the 666, dark atmosperic, guitar fueled Dubstep side. The fans of the movie i think would have one more reason to love this as the track contains many samples and dialogue excerpts from the movie, spiced up with the classic Drop Goblin sound and style. A pretty nice track overall, even if not really a banger since it’s more on atmospheric side. Still pretty enjoyable and evil and a pretty nice fit for your Dubhell category actually. So, here’s Drop Goblin‘s “Joseph Carmichael” and is coming to get you so better play it loud and keep the lights on!
