Hell-o to all Metalectroheadz and bass freakz! I hope you all had a great weekend and you’re refreshed and ready to face any horrors and daily grind related issues might cross your path this week. So, back in blogging duty and let me tell you that big things are on the way in the next days and weeks but for now let’s go big on the bass with aUtOdiDakT‘s new “Slasher Army” EP which was out a few days ago on Mähtrasher, featuring 1 original plus remixes by Kroyclub, Hantise, overNoize and Raupe. In case any of you missed the previews or haven’t checked out “Slasher Army” yet, let me tell you that this is some fine and lovely ear grinding thrash bass right here and as my opening post for today i have the Full EP, including the full length original mix as well and you better make sure to check it out!

Moving on with a preview of an upcoming EP and if The S in my opening post were coming back on the blog after a long absence, here’s a name who’s always been a regular and even more lately as he continues his hyper-productive year. Of course i’m talking about aUtOdiDakT who promised us earlier this year to release a new single every month and damn does this guy know how to keep a promise or what!? His new upcoming single, out 11th of June on Mähtrasher Records is titled “Slasher Army” and looking at the remixer line up as well as listening to the teaser i think it’s a very suitable title. A killer original plus 4 remixes by Kroyclub, Hantise, Overnoize and Raupe and if you’re after some thrashing bass, trashed up Haezer-esque electro you’re going to love this one! Press play!

Let’s go on with this great retouch by aUtOdiDakT who decided to give it for free!! Here’s my pick for the « remix of the day », and it’s a huge one by the German producer who decided to retouch one of the Bloody beetroots‘ best tracks. These last weeks, with the remix contest launched by Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo , i saw many times people saying that remixing Cornelius was useless and stupid as it consisted in damaging a masterpiece…Cornelius is indeed a masterpiece of electro, and i also was thinking that no remix could equal the original…until i heard this one. I don’t say that it surpasses the original track but i maintain that it is at least as good. If you’re not convinced, press play and see what you think about it!!

Hell-o and a great day to all! 2nd blogging day for me already this week as lady Hellectro couldn’t make it and things will get loud today. So, lets’ get started and here’s a brand new, semi-trashy (at least 50% of it) EP by aUtOdiDakT, out today on Maehtrasher. The title is “Nightingale Rhythm” and features the nice sounding original plus remixes by Paul Tesla, Monophonique and Beatbouncers as well as a remix by Uppercut. Continue on “Boredom”. The original and Monophonique remix definitely stand out as the EP‘s stronger tracks imo as they give the EP the trash element and edge. It’s no secret i favor hard bass and trashy sound over trap on any given day though plus it’s no surprise to find these 2 very different styles on an aUtOdiDakT EP as the German producer was never big on genres.

Hell-o all and we hope you’re having a great day so far! Start of the new week and for a change we’ll be starting today’s blogging with an interview, so grab you drinks, cigarettes, food (or whatever else you might need), make a nice banging playlist and start reading cause there is quite some info coming up! This week we interviewed aUtOdiDakT, a name that has been featured on Metalectro quite a few times with his tracks. aUtOdiDakT is based in Stuttgart, Germany and he has already released a number of originals as well as remixes. He’s currently working on some new projects and releases, with his new single “Boredom” being released tomorrow and we can assure you that he is one busy man, so let’s see what we should expect from him in 2013!
