Hell-o and we hope you all had a great Halloween and a huge weekend! A bit of a late start inthe week for us in terms of blogging as we didn’t make it to post anything yesterday but we are here now and ready to deliver some killer electro sounds and bass music of all kinds! So lets get things started with something rather dark and atmospheric, you might even say a perfect post-Halloween opening post that brings back on Metalectro Dance With The Dead, who have been featured here once before as Jaypeau. Dance With The Dead is the new project name of the music duo consisting of J. Pointer (Jaypeau) and T. Kim who had their LP “Out Of Body” out about a week ago. A  nice dark and rather hard 80’s sounding electro LP including 15 tracks, out of which i have selected my favorite ones to post here. They should give you a pretty  good idea what to expect from Dance With The Dead, so check them out!

Time to wrap things up and let the weekend start but before we do i have saved a Metalecto Special and a double “remix of the day” post for the end. And when i say special this one is special by all means, since not only both remixes are some of the most Metalectric material we have heard in a while but also pit one known big name against a young up & comer who has certainly got a lot more to give with his music. So, Zardonic vs iMAGiN8, since they both remixed each other’s tracks on their EPs out on Jet Set Trash this month and what a combination of styles and results this working relationship has produced so far really! The story goes something like this, iMAGiN8 remixed Zardonic‘s “Restless Slumber” for the “Restless Remixes” EP that was released on early October and really the 18yo producer took everyone by surprise as his remix was a devastating guitar fueled Metalstep banger of the highest standard and quality!

Thsi will be the last music post for today as i have an interview and a special guest artist to introduce next since i didn’t make it to do so yesterday but before we get into that, here’s my pick for the “remix of the day” and it’s some guitar fueled greatness by RIOT87. In case you aren’t familiar with RIOT87 yet, get familiar with them, especially if you like the heavy guitar injected dubstep and drum & bass. Blogged here once beofre RIOT87 certainly have many more posts coming on Metalectro but for now lets stick to their first “remix of the day” title with this remix on Squarehead Feat Kalyton (aka Celldweller) “Idiots”. Listening to this remix without having listenend to the original version you might think RIOT87 stayed close to it which certainly isn’t the case and have really given the track their own and really grear touch. Great stuff once again by RIOT87 so check this one out and stay tuned for a pretty nince  interview, coming next.

Last post and like i mentioned earlier i’ll close with a video today and the first official video ever for a Gor FLsh track! And of course, how could i possibly pass up any opportunity to post a track by Gor FLsh here, especially when accompanied with a video too as it is in this case? The video is for Gor FLsh‘s track “Sludgecity”, definitely one of Gor FLsh‘s most characteristic tracks, taken from his debut LP “Gor FLsh” which was out about a year ago on Jet Set Trash. This video was released now though alongside the “Gor FLsh Remixed” EP, to celebrate the 1 year since the LP release. If you expect a high budget, stunning visual effects and shiny production video think again but if you expect a fun to watch video with it’s fair share of headbanging, booze consumption, rising from the grave and the usual Gor FLsh laptop smashing business, accompanied with one of 2012’s baddest and loudest tracks, then this is for you! I certainly enjoyed watching it so here it is! Enjoy and have a great evening!
