For those not really keeping up with social media and the latest in the heavy bass electronic music, Firepower Records is clebrating its 100th release and as every year and what better way to do that than the “Shell Shock Legends” compilation? 13 original tracks from all accross the 44 artist strong roster the label has built, including all the heavy artillery, with tracks from Datsik, Protohype, Tha Trickaz, Truth, Twine, Terravita, Helicopter Showdown, Getter, Downlink, PhaseOne and more. Needless to say the amounts of bass heard on the 13 tracks is both ear deafening and enormous. A mix between Dubstep and Trap for the most part, this is definitely a release all fans of the label, artists and Dubstep/Trap sound should check out so here comes “Shellshock Legends”, check it out! Hell-o all and after finally managing to deal with the unpleasant technical difficulties that have plagued Metalectroland the last day or so, we are finally back and ready to lauch our (b)assault with a couple brand new releases. One of them comes by the trio that goes by the name Terravita and we are pretty sure not many introductions are needed in this case. Terravita‘s LP “Ritual” is out today on Firepower Records featuring 14 originals altogether, with some pretty big collaborations among them with the likes of Obsidian, Datsik and KJ Sawka among others. Some of the tracks we have heard already some time ago as they were either released as singles or even as freebies but that hasn’t really taken anything from the production value of this very well produced and put together album. Nice flow, top production and nice variety between the 14 tracks who go from full bass Dubstep and Drum N Bass to Trap, with their fair share of rock/metal and even funk influences. It’s no secret that we aren’t big fans Trap here and that applies to Terravita too but despite that we quite enjoyed the album as whole. Our favorite tracks still remain some of the ones we had already heard before and it comes as no big surprise really that the previously released singles still remain some our favorite tracks on the album in their majotiry as they were probably carefully selected to be the singles for good reason. Ovreall, an album that is absolutely worth checking out, especially for those full bass tracks so here it is, hit play and listen through the whole album below!

Time for the first freebie and this pick will also be the first remix being featured here today, we stay on the uplifting side of electronic music though with this damn decent  remix been done by Datsik! The original by Pretty Lights feat Talib Kweli named “Around The Block” is mainly bit too summer-vibed and chilled for my personal taste, but Datsik attended to this matter as great one could expect by him, maintained the positive mood and remarkable hip-hop vocals but gave it an extra boost with more bass and kicking beats and created this floor-filler somewhere between groovy glitch-hop and bassy dubstep hereby! Time to boost yourself, check it out and grab that goodie!!!

So far blogging, writing the drafts respectively seems to become more and more adventurous, let´s see how far we´ll be able to go today, luckily Zak seems to have a better connection than i do… And just as s i finally made it to start this fresh blood post and wanted to go on, the next mishap already occurred since the artist i´m going to feature hereby named Sadhu isn´t trackable on Facebook anymore and sadly in addition pretty stingy with information on his Soundcloud account. In order not to feed you with misinformation by telling you what i guess to know about Sadhu i better shut the fuck up, hope for a better next time to make inquiries and let just this remix done on Datsik´s “Fully Blown” speak for itself, which is actually supposed to be a freebie, but not unless Sadhu´s Facebook page is working again. Nevertheless i hope you enjoy this nasty brutal-step massacre, play it loud!!!

Hell-o all and i hope you’re having a great day! After a silent day yesterday we’re back today and about to deliver some more lethal bass blows, so you better get ready for another Metalectro session! We’re also going to be splitting the day and posts today since time is limited for either one of us to have a full blogging day alone. So, time to get things started and for my opening post i have a new EP release by Synchronice and so a dubstep start in the day. “Countdown EP” was out on Firepower Records a couple of days ago featuring 3 original tracks by Synchronice plus a remix the duo did on Datsik (feat. Snak The Ripper) “Machete”. Overall a pretty nice EP with plenty of bass that most fans of well produced melodic dubstep will enjoy. Personally speaking i don’t think thiw will be among my favorite releases of the year but is definitely one worth checking out anyway so press the play byutton below!
