Time to call it a day, so here´s your lullaby in form of the latest track and video by Black Tiger Sex Machine named “Moonlight“! Been inspired by Beethoven´s “Moonlight Sonata” and paying tribute to Stanley Kubrick´s movie “A Clockwork Orange” which is as you certainly know full of Beethoven tracks, the Canadian trio came up with their own, modern and quite emancipated video interpretation. Apart from this pretty cool clip “Moonlight” is a greatly vibing, powerful but still dark tune, packed with lovely distorted synths and a playful banger by all means that shouldn´t be missed! So after the Hellectric intervention and the last couple of posts by the one and only lady Hellectro it’s time for me to come back and wrap things up with my last post for today! And in case you haven’t watched the official video, or haven’t checked out the track for Black Tiger Sex Machine‘s “Rezorecta”, taken from the “Studs, Spikes & Blood” EP out on Kannibalen Records a little longer than half a year ago, prepare yoursleves for a pretty nice audio-visual treat. A great track, EP and a pretty nice video too. If you like your ladies badass and your electro heavy and loud then you’re going to love this one since it has all those, a lot of attitude and plenty of bass to grind your ears with! So, check it out, check out the “Studs, Spikes & Blood” EP too in case you somehow missed it featuring 3 originals plus remixes by Kai Wachi, Pornorockerz and Seek N Destroy and have a banging evening!

One post before the last and as the time to wrap another Metalectro session up is coming let’s get serious (not that i was kidding with my previous picks) and get a bit more destructive. It’s been a while since Drivepilot has been blogged here anyway, as far as i remember at least, since the undoubtedly extremely talented and very loved producer among all Metalectro fans, followers and bloggers hasn’t been as active the last few months. Of course the fact that we haven’t been listening to as many tracks by him recently makes the pleasure of having this remix by him posted here today double, or actually make that triple, since i also give him the “remix of the day” title. Hard, heavy, distorted and destructive electro by Drivepilot for Black Tiger Sex Machine‘s “Destroy It” so just hit play!

Hell-o all and i hope you’re having a great day! After a day off yesterday, had to take a break from blogging and recharge my electro batteries, i’m back today with some more killer beats, dirty synths and plenty of bass, so get ready for another Metalectro session! I’ll be starting with a preview of an upcoming release today and i have to say that the Black Tiger Sex Machine “Destroy It” EP, out on Kannibalen Records on May 7th, definitely sounds like an interesting one. Hard to draw any safe conclusions from this minimix to be honest as the 2 orginals have left me with a nice taste in my ears but also wondering how the full tracks might develop. As for the remixes, Drivepilot, Urban Contact and Rob De Large are closing the roster and add their own touch to the EP. Check out the preview!

Going on with a new original next that follows the same path that many seem to take recently by experimenting and blending various style. Something that if done right can lead into great results but often it leads in somewhat too intelligent compositions that can be a bit too much for my taste. Something that seems to be happenning with this collaboration between Black Tiger Sex Machine and Dabin to be honest. In this particular track and case Black Tiger Sex Machine and Dabin have tried to mix some housy elements with some powerful hard electro, resulting into an interesting track that feels a bit like moving in 2 speeds at times though. The hard parts sound pretty nice but not a big fan of the housy parts personally. Still an interesting and nice track that is worth checking out, so do that.
