Following a less “bassy” opening post it’s time to move on to some more familiar and heavy sounds and here comes Flybug‘s new single “Paralytic”, which was released a few days ago on Jet Set Trash. It’s been a while since we heard some new music coming out from the UK based artist, actually since his track for the last Metalectro contest and compilation if not mistaken, so it’s definitely nice to know he’s back in the studio working on some new material. “Paralytic” includes a Dubstep original, featuring London’s Hip-Hop trio Vice Versa on vocals as well as a great Electro House remix by Prismatic. Definitely a nice comeback release by Flybug who according to the Jet Set Trash announced release schedule should have another single out before the end of the year, his second during December, so check out “Paralytic” and stay tuned for more by him!

Hell-o and a great week to all! Monday again and this means we’re back in business (or actually “bassines” if you prefer) and as proven multiple times before already there is no better remedy for the weekend hangovers than some fresh bass and we have quite a bit of it coming today so fasten your seatbelts and get ready for take off! And to get things rolling we have some “fresh blood” coming with the signature of Uplink Audio and the new River Accorsi EP, titled “Metanoia”. A deep and dark Dubstep release with a character of its own and it’s fair to say this isn’t your regular Dubstep/Drum N Bass EP. Bassy and atmospheric, River Accorsi‘s “Metanoia” EP takes the best elements of many different bass music forms and styles and blends them together in great ways, making his new EP a journey that needs to be experienced from start to end. Prismatic has also contributed a remix to the release and it’s a great one too, adding some extra bassy flavor to what was a very nice release already. So here’s “Metanoia” and you better check it out!

Going on with the new Fractal “Avare/Urchin” Remix EP, out 1 week ago on Adapted Records containing 6 remixes by Au5, Prismatic & Wes Goodie, The Gremlin, Blend/Volant, Sokrates and Evoke. Slightly mixed feelings about this one for the time being as the atmospheric and more relaxed vibe is nice but also becomes a bit monotonous resulting to the EP lacking the extra energy boost, for our taste at least. Having said that, the remixes are all well done with the Au5, Prismatic & Wes Goodie and Blend/Volant remixes of “Urchin” being our favorites and despite feeling a bit like variety is missing from the EP as a whole here’s a preview to check out and see what you think for yourselves.

Going on with the same massive sound and style and a new release by Imagin8. As fresh as it gets this one was out a few hours ago on Jet Set Trash and when we talk about massive we mean m-a-s-s-i-v-e! The extremely talented 18 yo wonderkid from Boston (USA) has hit again, this time with an 8 track EP, titled “Pure Justice”. 3 originals, moving between Dubstep, Drumstep and Drum & Bass plus 5 really great remixes by Zardonic, The Mechanist, Prismatic, Monster Kill and No Fake? and it should be pretty clear that this is an EP bound to make some serious noise and rightfully so. All tracks are great, with the opening “Pure Justice” setting the mood for what’s to follow right from the start and you will hardly find anything bad on this one, especially if you like your bass music loud and top class! Definitely a realease to check out so hit play below!

Hell-o all and i hope you are having a great day! It’s been a nice day here on Metalectroland and well, it’s about to get better as it’s time for your mid-week Metalectro energy boost and we have plenty of good things coming today and as always very rich in bass. I will be strating kind of slow-ish and pick up the pace gradually as we go on but nothing to worry about as i won’t be starting with any ballads but with some fresh blood and a very fresh release too. It’s the first time the USA based Prismatic is being featured here and what a debut post for him as well since he had his debut EP out on SectionZ a couple of days ago. A nice EP with 8 tracks overall, 5 originals out of which 1 is a collaboration with Seamless plus 3 remixes by Au5 & Fractal, Okiru and Strangers. Overall a nice release that isn’t really on the banger side but more on the more melodic Dubstep one with the occassional bass outbursts of course. Here’s the full EP and even if the track order seems to be backwards that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying it. Check it out!
