Next up we have something huge coming and well, how could it not be huge when it’s a compilation album celebrating three years of Blackout Music? Yeah, you read that right, a remix album consisting of Blackout artists remixing other Blackout artists and we could stop writting right at this point since you know this is going to be a face melt. And if you are not convinced just take a look at the track list, where some of the hottest Drum And Bass artists come together to remix each other (Black Sun Empire, Pythius, Telekinesis, Neonlight, State Of Mind and the list goes on). Out on June 17 this is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most highly anticipated releases of the year since all tracks are… well, to put it simply “fire”. Non-stop energy and bass which we guarantee will squeeze your brain and hit you in the face so hard that you won’t be able to stop moving. Should we even say “check it out”? We shouldn’t have to so just press play. Continue reading »

Time to wrap things up for today and so here comes my last post and we’ll be getting really heaby, deep and dark with this one and how if anyone expected anything other than that from Noisia then they were obviously very mistaken. Big remix by a big name and in this case, which isn’t always true when it comes to bigger names, the track definitely sound big enough as well. “Arrakis” is taken from Black Sun Empire‘s recently released “Variations on Black” Remix Album which features 28 remixes altogether with some pretty big weapons of Drum & Bass destruction among the artists. Counterstrike, Zardonic, Audio, Neonlight and many more can be heard remixing some Black Sun Empire tracks on this Remix Album and just like this remix by Noisia is, most of them are pretty damn great too. So, check this one, make damn sure to check out the full release as well and have a great evening!

Going on with another big new release and i’ll be shifting towards the filthy, dark Drum & Bass side and sound and Zardonic‘s new release “Far Beyond Bass – The Vulgar Remixes”. 12 of Zardonic‘s tracks remixed by 12 different artists and released as a remixes LP and if you expect any ballads and soft cheesy stuff among these 12 bass monsters you better think again and get a grip. I am not really the biggest Drum & Bass fan to be honest so i wasn’t sure what to expect while hitting play on this one for the first time but Zardonic‘s love of the dark and heavy bass music won me over i have to amdit. As for which are my favorite tracks from this LP, i have to say that Counterstrike, ANiMAL & Raptus, Neonlight, Black Sun Empire and State Of Mind have certainly left a nice buzz in my ears and i think if transformers and specifically Megatron was throwing a big party this would certainly be his album of choice to rock cybertron with! Check it out!
