Weekend Bass 3It’s that time of the week again and even though we haven’t been able to keep up with our bass addiction as much as we’d like to this week, it’s never too late to get the bass cannons loaded with some nasty sounds and get loud, so that’s exactly what we’re gonna do just before we get into weekend mode. From Electro House to Dubstep and Drum N Bass, today’s track selection is packing some serious firepower (and we don’t necessarily mean the label) by Black Tiger Sex Machine and Lektrique, Figure (who hasn’t been blogged here for a while so a big bad “welcome back” to him), Hugeative (who brings some tasty fresh blood in today’s track selection), a massive collaboration by SKisM, Habstrakt and Megalodon and last but not least Muzzy (who just had a new EP out). So, ‘nuf said and we better let the music do the talking, so press play and enjoy!

revenge-of-the-5thSo, following all the “May the 4th” jokes that took over social media yesterday it’s our turn to have some fun, dark side style, so here comes our “Revenge Of The Fifth” track selection including 5 tracks that we loved during April and think all heavy bass maniacs among you will love too. 5 original tracks from 5 different artists/releases and a mix of Electro, Dubstep and well, Zardonic who if anything transcends Electronic music boundaries and sub-genres more often than not while staying loyal to the Metalectro sound. As for the other four tracks we have chosen to exact our revenge with, Megalodon, Downlink & Terravita, Belzebass and BAR9 are all names that need no introductions and are more than qualified to ruin your neighbor’s day while making yours.

Going on with my 2nd and it’s time to get heavy as i’ll continue with another new EP release and you can be certain this one is an ear grinding kind of heavy one, as SKisM is back with the Remixes EP of “Elixir”, out today on Never Say Die Records. Except the EP opener VIP mix of “Elixir” by SKisM who took the track into a Drum & Bass direction while always maintaining it’s heavy bassline and catchy vocal hooks, the EP also features 3 remixes by some names that most bass addicts on here should be familiar with. Skeptiks, Karetus and Megalodon are on remixing duties, each adding their own personal touch and giving the release a variation in style too by moving between Electro House and Dubstep. A nice sounding EP overall that’s definitely worth checking out so here are all tracks and you better hit on those play buttons below!
