Greetings to all bassheads out there and hope you had a great weekend. Slow start in the week in terms of blogging after what turned out to be a busy weekend but we’re getting back on track and some new music always helps so here comes Dodge & Fuski and 12th Planet who collaborated recently on “Big Riddim Monsta”, out on Disciple Recordings a week ago. And because one riddim monsta is never enough though the release came with a b-side as well, titled “Jump”. As for what you can expect to hear on Dodge & Fuski‘s new single, well the release title is pretty much self-explanatory. March has been one of those months that have been very kind to us with too many great tracks and releases coming by a great deal of artists/labels and since posting them all one by one would seem almost impossible we have decided to pick some of our favorite bass monsters released during the month in a 5 track selection that will melt your face with the massive drops and huge badass sound it includes. So fasten your seatbelts and lets get nasty, starting with Downlink & Twofold‘s collaboration original titled “Darkside”, out on Uplink Audio a couple of weeks ago. Review: Virtual Riot “Nightmare” EP

Going on with quite a highly anticipated new release next, as surely those of you aware that Virtual Riot had a new EP coming these days must have been looking forward to the moment it goes online, which has finally arrived as the German artist has made the full “Nightmare” EP available for streaming on his Soundcloud. Out on Disciple Recordings yesterday, “Nightmare” EP comes with four original Dubstep tracks, one of them being a three way collaboration with Autodrive and Splitbreed. Massive sound design and top production like we are used to hearing and expect at all times by Virtual Riot who this time has not only gone heavier but also darker than most of his previous releases, something that we here on Metalectro can of course appreciate and most definitely enjoyed. New Release: Dodge & Fuski Vs Barely Alive “Poison”

Next up, another new release and a big (ok, huge) collaboration original between Dodge & Fuski and Barely Alive who need no introductions really and a track that all those of you into Dubstep will love no doubt. Melodic and powerful Dubstep, “Poison” is out on Disciple Recordings since a week ago (October 6) and if you expect anything else than top production and big bass then you obviously aren’t familiar with the names involved in this collaboration. Maybe slightly more on the melodic side than we would have liked here on Metalectro but that doesn’t make it any less of a good track, besides we can’t say that “Poison” lacks in energy or power by any means. So, for all you Dubstep fans here’s something to make your day, enjoy!

Preview: Virtual Riot “We’re Not Alone” EP

Next have this pretty promising sounding preview of Virtual Riot´s upcoming EP “We´re Not Alone“, to be released on the 11th of August! Being freshly on the roster of Disciple Recordings hereby, the EP features altogether five tracks, four of them being originals plus one remix been done by Au5. A pretty varied EP judging by this teaser, and covering a range from punching dubstep to hard electro and rather a bit cheesy electro house this one sounds like a nice release overall, even though i have to admit the track i´m the most excited about so far is “Getting Real”! Anyways, we´ll all know more once the EP is out, so mark that date with a cross and for now give the teaser a thorough listen!!
