Weekend is coming and once again we thought we’d come up with a track selection for you to get the party started. From Indie Dance to Electronica and Electro to Drum & Bass here’s what’s on our playlist heading into the weekend and we certainly hope you enjoy the tracks too. Please note that some of the tracks are only available as previews on Soundcloud and one of them is actually only available on Spotify for the time being, so we recommend checking out the full playlist on Spotify rather on Soundcloud. Pick your poison and have a great weekend y’all!

Hell-o all and it’s not very often that you will see us posting about mau5trap releases on this blog so in case you’re wondering whether we’re might be going “soft” we ensure you that isn’t the case but on the contrary it’s the specific release that features a couple of tracks by two artists you most likely know and love as much as we do that really caught our attention. The majority of the tracks on “We Are Friends” Vol.03 might not be down our alley to be honest but but we couldn’t ignore these two bright (or actually dark if we want to be more precise) exceptions by any means. One of them comes by an artist who has been a member of the mau5trap roster for a few months and is no other than Proxy, who has contributed with a heavy trasher titled “Oldboy” on the release and let us tell you, this is Proxy at his best (or very close at least). The second track we have picked from “We Are Friends” Vol.03 comes by Frenchman Neus, who too joins mau5trap and his new track is really something of a special treat. “Amanita” is the title of Neus‘s new track who’s going for some atmospheric and relaxed guitar driven Electronica. Quite a soundtrack feel to it and definitely great intro music for anything you do, even more to open today’s blogging session with. Here are both tracks so check them out! Continue reading »

Hell-o you all, or strictly speaking even hell-o-ho-ho! In many countries worldwide it´s Christmas celebration time as from today, of course this is not a day for evil to sleep, so we are busy here in digital hell too and in order to fill the sack appropriatedly and keep your ears heavily ringing, i packed a bunch of evil freebies for today´s blogging session! First pick is a superbadass track by NEUS called “RPRST“, which has not only impressing casual, but also very coldblooded been shot from the Frenchman´s hips and doesn´t take prisoners by any means with its in-your-face attitude! Simple, raw, deep and banging, go get that goody and play it loud!!!

Hell-o you all, i hope you´re fine! I spare you from further introductions, but start on the spot with my first post! The preview of this EP by NEUS named “Noises” has already been posted here some days ago and maybe you remember that i got pretty curious about it back then being a fairly wild bunch of styles. It´s out on Fuck The Sound Records since the 1st of November and meanwhile i have to admit if definitely exceeded my expectations by far and i got more than pleasantly surprised by the final result! NEUS used quite some typical, if not even most evident elements of genres i actually don´t like that much personally -ranging from tech sounds & acid up to trap, grime and big room- but made it to transform these mentioned in a very creative and refreshing way that even me, being quite narrow minded when it comes to some stuff, got more than convinced by this EP! An innovative, very dark and badass release overall, with many devils in its details, i pretty much fell in love with, so make sure to play it loud & check all tracks out!!!

Going on with a preview by a name that has been absent here for quite a while yet being a real whizz-kid that delivers not only sounds for Metalectro purposes, and even though this preview of NEUS ´ upcoming EP named “Noises” also comes along with a quite wild bunch of styles, i have to admit that i got curious about some of the tracks featured on – still the opera ain´t over until the fat lady sings! To be released on Fuck The Sound Records the 1st of November, this EP is going to feature five original tracks altogether, covering a wide range from electro-tech, via rather trap-like influences up to dub´n´drumstep and hard electro. An all-purpose release by NEUS i´d almost say, but we´ll find out soon i guess, for the time being check the teaser out to get an impression yourselves too!!!
