Review: Andreas Rund “Gemini” EP

Andreas Rund is a name we only came accross very recently (as in about a couple of weeks ago) and istantly fell in love with his deep and dark music. Taking a closer and more careful look of course we realised the Czech Republic producer wasn’t as “new” as we initially thought. Formerly know as Atrey, the artist has gone through a complete transformation (this isn’t just a cheap and quick paintjob) and it’s definitely a very interesing one too. Released via Owl Vision‘s imprint Comorbid Records, “Gemini” is Andreas Rund‘s first EP under his new alias. Three original tracks moving somewhere between dark Electronica, House and even darker Techno with a clean, deep yet heavy sound this is definitely a debut that sets the bar pretty high for Andreas Rund and can be enjoyed both in a club with some early morning “burnout” sessions or at home. We will definitely be keeping an eye and ear out for Andreas Rund in the future but for now we’re just going to leave you check out his debut EP “Gemini”. Continue reading »

It’s been almost a week since the last Firday the 13th of the year and for those who didn’t know, it’s an Owl Vision tradition to release new music on every Friday 13 and last Friday was no excecption. Hell-o all and after a silent few days from our side it’s time to bring out our bass canons and blast some serious dark electronic sonic filth your way and we have quite some stuff as well to post, starting with the return of the Swedish Death Electro king on Metalectro. Yeah, Owl Vision is back with his 5th LP titled “Doomster” and let us say that this has to be one of the artist’s best works up to date. 8 originals with the classic dark trademark Owl Vision sound and full of those frozen dark melodies that send chills down your spine and we all know and love from Owl Vision. Some tracks like “Lightsly”, “Holy Shit” or “Kill Me Now” you must already be familiar with if you follow the artist since they had already been released as singles before but those are only one third of the “Doomster” LP brilliance so here’s the full LP for your listening pleasure!
