Hell-o all and we hope you are having a great day! It’s been a busy one for us but this isn’t stopping us from devlievering some deadly bass and electro. And speaking about deadly electro there’s noone else who does that like Carpenter Brut. So, it’s time for that second part of our Carpenter Brut special, which we promised you a couple of weeks ago. For those of you who missed Pt.I you can check it here, for the rest prepare for another dose of awesomeness from the French artist or in case you somehow aren’t yet familiar with Carpenter Brut‘s very characteristic, dark, twisted and unique style prepare to be blown away. I´ll keep the freebies coming and continue with my pick for today´s “remix of the day”, with special pleasure granted to an artist that joined quite freshly to our beloved Metalectro family – Carpenter Brut! This remix being originally by Scanners and named “Control” has been taken from the “Love Is Symmetry Remix” EP that has been released on Dim Mak a week ago, but only two of the altogether eight remixes featured on it are for free. This one belongs to the freebies though, which is actually good for us, still i don´t get it why as i´d have done it the other way round judging by Metalectro standards. For those of you who aren´t familiar with Carpenter Brut yet (shame on you, better catch up right now 😉 ); like all his tracks this one also stands out due to its amazing, (partly dark) 80s-synth-sounds combined with rock guitars in Carpenter Brut´s very own and remarkable style but whether you know the Frenchman already or not, checking this one out is strongly recommended so give it a listen and get this goodie by all means!!!

In my 2nd post i have decided to write about an artist that has really knocked the Metalectro duo of its feet (and i believe i am talking on behalf of lady Hellectro too when saying this). Caprenter Brut is a recent find (thanks to mr. Gost for the suggestion) who has only been featured here once before with his new EP but really there is so much more one can say about his music. Inspired by horror films his tracks mover between dark 80’s sound and hard French electro to even disco and rock. Great production, lots of strings and resonance, his music is simply put twisted, wicked and damn great. Definitely an artist to look out for as his music sounds fresh, good, loud and has definitely got a style and character of its own. Caprenter Brut does his own thing, he loves what he does and does it as good as very few. It’s no coincidence that he turned offers from bigger labels anyway (for reasons that we will look into and talk to him about) and kept releasing his music through the much smaller Black Bvs Records. Big ups to mr Caprenter Brut for staying uncompromised and true to his music and passion and here are 3 of his tracks as a Metalectro Special, to be completed with a 2nd part sometime soon! Hell-o to all bass freaks and electro maniacs of the world! We hope you all had a great weekend and you’re ready to kick this new week and especially in the butt! Not to worry if you’re not feeling ready though, your favorite bass duo is back in action and we have some pretty butt kicing music to post, so better fasten your seatbelts and get ready for take off! For starters we have a new EP by Carpenter Brut who might have not been blogged here before but you can be certain you’ll be hearing his music a lot on this blog in the future! So, fresh blood to start the day with and damn tasty one too as Carpenter Brut‘s “EP II”, out on Black Bvs Records, is a perfect mix of hard electro, guitars, 80’s atmospheric horror influenced sound, string sections, even disco and french electro. This guy has really taken the Metalectro duo by surprise, not only with this new EP but also with his previous tracks so make sure to check this one as well as all his music by all means!
