And since we started the day with some powerfull and pretty heavy tunes let’s keep the power flowing but pick up the tempo a bit with a new collaboration track by Black Sun Empire & State Of Mind and normally having these two names in the same sentence, let alone track title, should be more than enough to know what’s coming. Drum N Bass of the highest and filthiest caliber and “Ego” is no exception. Released on Blackout Music just yesterday “Ego” is a 6 minute long non-stop moving experience like one would expect by the two artists and one more Drum N Bass gem to be added both to the artists’ and Blackout Music‘s catalogue and definitely a track all those who enjoy hard and super energised Electronic music should check out. So here it is, crank it up, hit play and let the whole neighbourhood feel the boost, bass and power!

This isn’t a new but an upcoming release and some fresh blood to make your blood boil and ears bleed! Bass overdose by the first (but we are sure not the last) time featured on Metalectro Pythius and a call to arms for all bassheads and Drum & Bass fans, with the signature of Black Sun Empire and Blackout Music and for those of you familiar with these names you should have a pretty good idea of what’s coming. For the rest, simply prepare to get blown away! Pythius new EP “Abandon” is set up for release on Nobember 17th with 5 tracks, also including a collaboration with label bosses Black Sun Empire. Two full tracks have already been made available for public streaming and we really couldn’t wait to feature them here. The EP title track “Abandon”, which is a bass monster which will devour your eardrums (and your neighboor’s too) as well as the collaboration with Black Sun Empire, titled “Desert Sand”. It is “Abandon” that really deserves all the focus and attention it can get though and trust us, it will get your attention as soon as you hit play. Just make sure you crank the volume up to appropriate loudness levels because such track must be played loud at all times. Check out the 2 tracks Pythius‘ upcoming “Abandon” EP and stay tuned for the release!

Hell-o and after a what we hope was a great and full of bass weekend it’s time to resume our filthy electronic music blogging duties and you better fasten your seatbelts because we have fresh beats and megatons of bass coming right from the start. And to start with we have the new State Of Mind LP, out on Black Out Music a couple of weeks ago. Drum N Bass in your face and of the highest level as well as on would expect by the duo from New Zealand. 16 originals, some prereleased and heard before and some not but all massive sounding. Some big collaborations as well between the 16 tracks on “Eat The Rich”, including 2 collaborations with Black Sun Empire. Overall it’s safe to say this is a big album for all Drum N Bass-headz and not only, going from dark and heavy to lighter and more melodic moods (whether vocal driven or not) while packing lots of energy and a boost throughout the LP, so make sure to check out the preview and enjoy your meal!

Time to wrap things up for today and so here comes my last post and we’ll be getting really heaby, deep and dark with this one and how if anyone expected anything other than that from Noisia then they were obviously very mistaken. Big remix by a big name and in this case, which isn’t always true when it comes to bigger names, the track definitely sound big enough as well. “Arrakis” is taken from Black Sun Empire‘s recently released “Variations on Black” Remix Album which features 28 remixes altogether with some pretty big weapons of Drum & Bass destruction among the artists. Counterstrike, Zardonic, Audio, Neonlight and many more can be heard remixing some Black Sun Empire tracks on this Remix Album and just like this remix by Noisia is, most of them are pretty damn great too. So, check this one, make damn sure to check out the full release as well and have a great evening!

Going on with another big new release and i’ll be shifting towards the filthy, dark Drum & Bass side and sound and Zardonic‘s new release “Far Beyond Bass – The Vulgar Remixes”. 12 of Zardonic‘s tracks remixed by 12 different artists and released as a remixes LP and if you expect any ballads and soft cheesy stuff among these 12 bass monsters you better think again and get a grip. I am not really the biggest Drum & Bass fan to be honest so i wasn’t sure what to expect while hitting play on this one for the first time but Zardonic‘s love of the dark and heavy bass music won me over i have to amdit. As for which are my favorite tracks from this LP, i have to say that Counterstrike, ANiMAL & Raptus, Neonlight, Black Sun Empire and State Of Mind have certainly left a nice buzz in my ears and i think if transformers and specifically Megatron was throwing a big party this would certainly be his album of choice to rock cybertron with! Check it out!
