Weekend is coming so here’s a playlist to get the party started. And being Friday the 13th too I thought i’d keep it bloody and heavy. We hope you enjoy the selection (incl. tracks by Lektrique, Kroyclub, XKore, Laforcah, Le Castle Vania, Owl Vision, Father, 501, The Glitch Mob, I Think I Broke Something , Christine and Neosignal). You can also check the playlist on Soundcloud (here) although some of the tracks are only available as previews so Spotify is recommended for the full versions.

As for those of you following the blog from the early days you might remember the regular monthly mixtape series we used to have, which will be probably be replaced by regular playlists. As for the reason why the mixtapes won’t be coming back but will be replaced by these playlists, first we feel it’s more directly beneficial for the artists themselves, second obviously it’s less time consuming to only have to make the right track selection instead of having to do a mixtape with it and finally with the stricter copyright infrigement policies that are in place on Soundcloud nowadays it seems more appropriate.

Weekend Bass 02Another weekend is almost here and boy are we glad this strange, busy and uneasy (for a number of reasons) week is over? So, even though blogging some music during the week turned out to be harder than we would have liked, it feels quite appropriate to celebrate the arrival of the weekend with some tracks that have been patiently and quietly sitting in our “to blog” list. So here comes another weekend track selection and a 5 track playlist, including 5 badass and full of bass tracks that helped us make it through the week and we know will definitely help set the mood for the weekend too. So, check out these new beasts by The Glitch Mob, Downlink & Axonic (feat. Terravita), KJ Sawka, Modestep & Genetix and Must Die!, play them loud and have a great weekend y’all! Continue reading »

bass tankWeekend is upon us once again and what a week it’s been in terms of good new music too! Unfortunatelly we haven’t been able to keep up with all the good new music that we’ve come accross recently but with the weekend being just around the corner, what best way to get the party going than a Friday favorite track selection? Some free downloads, some official releases but all new music, today’s selection is diverse as it goes from lighter moods and sounds to heavier and transcends genres. Awesome is the keyword in today’s selection and well, if these 5 tracks by Nero, Dominator & Logan D, Kai Wachi, Lock N Bounce and xKore aren’t enough to make your day and set the mood for the weekend then we don’t know what will. Enjoy!

Starting the day with a free release by Iron Court who made available two new originals “Engine” and “Device” a few days ago on Soundcloud, although if you want to add the tracks to your mp3 collection you have to email the artist himself and ask for a promo since no download have been made available. The tracks are a mix of Techno, Electronica and Electro (with some Acid touches) although they are staying on the dark and heavy side of the Electronic music spectrum. An interesting mix of styles and sounds to say the least, and two tracks fans of artists like GTronic and the other European Electro-trash heavies should enjoy. Definitely worth a listen, so press play and check it out. Continue reading »
